Hallmark Channel Brings Halloweentown Nostalgia To Haul Out The Holly Franchise
Hallmark Channel is trading in bows for boos in their third Haul Out the Holly installment with Haul Out the Halloween.
The neighborhood of Evergreen Lane is renowned for their spectacular holiday displays, but they’ve been pretty modest when it comes to Halloween. That is until some spooky new neighbors move onto the block and encourage the rest of the HOA to launch their first EverSCREAM Lane charity fundraiser. Full of creepy contests and a haunting carnival, they rediscover the joys of the spooky holiday.
Lacey Chabert, Wes Brown, Melissa Peterman, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Ellen Travolta reprise their roles from Haul Out the Holly and Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up. Meanwhile, real-life spouses and Halloweentown 2: Kalabar’s Revenge co-stars Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz join the cast as our new Halloween loving neighbors.
In a video on the Hallmark social channels, they tease the Halloweentown nostalgia as they introduce the new additions to the cast. “Wow, these new neighbors must really love Halloween,” said Chabert in the clip, with Brown punnily adding: “Yeah, but someone has to tell them we’re not exactly a… Halloween town.”
“Kimberly and Daniel have been dear friends for many years. When we started on this third movie, set during Halloween, I just knew that they would be the perfect addition to this hilariously funny cast,” shared Chabert, who is also an executive producer on the movies, in a statement. “I loved making this movie with friends — who so many people grew up sharing this holiday with. It’s a dream come true.”
Haul Out the Halloween is set to premiere later this year as part of Hallmark Channel’s Fall into Love programming event.
