Nathan Witte Calls The Social Reckoning A “Masterclass” In Filmmaking
After his role in Hallmark Channel’s Falling Into Place, Nathan Witte appears in The Social Reckoning, the follow up to The Social Network. Speaking with Pop Culture Planet’s Kristen Maldonado, he revealed that joining The Social Reckoning was a “definite career highlight.”
The actor revealed that the week he spent on set was a “masterclass” in filmmaking. “I got to be in the room for a whole week with Aaron Sorkin, Jeremy Strong,” Witte said. “It was like a masterclass watching Sorkin do his directing and then Jeremy Strong was doing his method acting on set.”
“It was like having Mark Zuckerberg there and we were addressing him. Mark in that era,” he continued. “It was pretty impressive to watch.”
While Witte couldn’t reveal much about his character or the plot, he learned a lot on set. “I felt like I was there just getting all the notes down,” he said. “But, yeah, true highlight and I'm excited for that.”
See Witte in Falling Into Place on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+, while The Social Reckoning hits theaters on October 9.
