Here’s A Look At Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2026 Holiday Line Up!
It’s the most wonderful time of year as Hallmark Channel’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas lineup arrives! The list for 2026 boasts 10 more original premieres than 2025, making the total count of 34 original movies. That’s the most ever to premiere during Hallmark Channel’s yearly event! Kicking off October 16, this year’s selections feature collaborations with the Chicago Bears, Walt Disney World, and a return to the fantastical world of Biltmore Estate. All our favorite Hallstars get in on the holiday fun including Lacey Chabert, Wes Brown, Tyler Hynes, Jonathan Bennett, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Holland Roden, Janel Parrish, and more.
‘Tis the Season for Setups
Type A party planner Lexi (Amanda Schull) and her family spend Christmas at a local ski resort after she is hired to organize their annual holiday party. While she initially butts heads with Ridge (Victor Webster), the ski instructor and son of the lodge’s owner, they grow closer as they attempt to set up their parents.

Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story
In the third film in the Holiday Touchdown franchise, an ambitious freelance reporter land a feel-good story profiling a beloved Chicago Bears superfan about to attend her 500th game. The only problem. She knows nothing about football. Luckily, the fan’s handsome firefighter grandson is ready to teach her al about Bear Nation. A single dad and holiday display expert relocates to the charming town of Pineway with his kids just weeks before Christmas. As he takes charge of the town’s beloved Christmas Market revival, he’s partnered with a practical accountant hoping to prove she’s ready for a leadership role. While the unlikely duo brings fresh ideas and Christmas cheer to the community, he struggles with a daughter who seems to be outgrowing their cherished holiday traditions. Winter Wonderlanes
A globe-trotting pop-up restauranteur returns home for Thanksgiving to the news that her late grandfather’s bowling alley Wonderlanes will be sold. She stays for one last festive season and revives their Winter Wonderland youth bowling tournament. Old feelings are rekindled with her old high school boyfriend, a local news reporter, when they team up to promote the event. It stars Ashley Newbrough and Franco Lo Presti.

Forgotten Holiday
Antiques buyer Kathryn Liu (Janel Parrish) has been happily dating Rob Ashford (Daniel Lissing) for nearly a year. When he surprises her with a pre-Christmas proposal, her fear of a failed relationship sends her running without giving an answer. When a suddenly car accident leaves him without his memories of the past year, including their relationship and his love for Christmas, Kathryn must help trigger his memory and decide if she’s courgeous enough to fight for the love she was too scared to claim.

It leads to a screen-free Christmas while she secretly searches for the footage and the family learns the importance of creating new memories. Nikki DeLoach and Juan Pablo Di Pace star.

The Nights Before Christmas
Tyler Hynes plays Marty who wishes for more time on Christmas Eve. Thanks to some holiday magic, he wakes up to discover it’s Christmas Eve all over again. He uses this gift to pick up new skills, but eventually finds a reason to make it to Christmas Day when he meets and falls for journalist Chloe (Laci J Mailey).
During Hallmark Channel’s 25th birthday red carpet, Hynes revealed the concept was partly inspired by his love for Michael J. Fox and Andie MacDowell. “This was my way to pay homage to both of them in a single movie,” Hynes told Pop Culture Planet. “What can I tell you about it is that I am the worst version of both of those people.”
Despite poking fun at his own performance, Hynes praised the crew for their work on the film. “It was a unique execution in terms of a production for these kinds of budgets,” he explained. “Everybody was very, very hardworking and very proud of the work they did.”
Hynes also revealed he and his partners took a piece of the production home with them. “There's a painting that there's three different iterations of,” he shared. “One of them I painted. My producing partner and my writer and myself, each one of us, stole one of those paintings.”
The Nights Before Christmas airs November 14.
Mistletoe and Mimosas
A Manhattan business consultant and the owner of a trendy club battle it out in a 12 Days of Christmas-inspired contest to see who can draw in more business. Tamera Mowry-Housley and Kristoffer Polaha lead, while Mowry-Housley reunites with her Twitches co-star Jennifer Robertson.
During a press day for Mowry-Housley’s film Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude To A Wedding, she gave Pop Culture Planet some major scoop on Mistletoe and Mimosas. “Jennifer Robertson, I wanted her to play my best friend in this Christmas film. I hadn't seen her in over 25 years, but we always had this special connection doing Twitches. She was Ileana and she was my guardian. She was specifically my guardian. Remember, Camryn?” she shared. “So it literally was a beautiful full circle when I got to see her and it was like time hadn't passed. Our chemistry, our dynamic is still the same. It was somewhat the same. It felt like we were on Twitches. It was really cool.”
Mowry-Housley revealed that this role is a lot closer to her own personality. “This is a movie that I'm not playing a mom. I am playing a powerhouse. I don't think Hallmark has seen me like this before, but it's actually closer to who I am as a person. There's lots of banter, there's humor, there's heart,” she enthused. “Without giving too much away, my daughter is in it. It's a pretty special one and I can't wait for you guys to see it.”
Yup, even her own daughter Ariah Talea Housley makes her acting debut in the holiday flick. “I was not ready. When she first went out to say her lines, I started crying,” Mowry-Housley admitted. “I was like, ‘Oh my god, it's happening. I'm so proud.’”

A Grand Biltmore Christmas
In A Biltmore Christmas, a screenwriter working on a reboot of the holiday classic His Merry Wife! discovers a magical hourglass that sends her back to the 1947 set. Now the highly anticipated sequel A Grand Biltmore Christmas takes us back to the Christmas Eve that the historic estate first opened. In 1895, Elizabeth meets Michael, a young trespasser who suddenly vanishes. Twenty years later, she reunites with Michael when a magical hourglass pulls her into modern day. Holland Roden, Niall Matter, Andie MacDowell, James Trevena, Jonathan Frakes, Rachel Boston, and Wes Brown star.
Matter called the movie “a love story that spans over a century” when talking with Pop Culture Planet at Hallmark Channel’s 25th birthday red carpet. He plays Michael opposite Roden’s Elizabeth. “She knocked it out of the park,” he said of his co-star, while praising the creative team of director Dustin Rikert and producers Andrew Gernhard and Molly Mayeux. “It’s a team that I haven’t had the chance to work with before ‘cause [Wes Brown] always gets their movies. But I absolutely loved working with them.”
The original film ended with a fun cameo of Brown and Boston as the leads of the modern His Merry Wife! remake. “I was really surprised about how much we got to expand our characters. We don't we have a ton of screen time, but what we got to do with it was really great,” said Brown about his “knockout cameo” role in the sequel. “They let us play. They let us have a lot of fun. It was just great to be back. I never thought I would be back in a sequel.”
