Fake Dating Gets Complicated In The Love Hypothesis Trailer

Based on a novel by Ali Hazelwood, The Love Hypothesis explores a fake relationship that slowly turns into love worth taking the risk for. 

The trailer shows young career-focused Ph.D. candidate Olive (Lili Reinhart) crushing over Jeremy (Nicholas Duvernay). The bad news is that Jeremy is totally crushing on Olive’s best friend Ahn (Rachel Marsh). 

Sparing her friendship with Ahn, Olive impulsively kisses Professor Adam Carlsen (Tom Bateman) aka “Doctor Evil” to show that she’s moved on. The two agree to start a fake relationship to preserve her friendship, but to also help Stanford consider renewing his grant. From awkward physical touches to carrying her home after a date, the two discover a real spark as time passes and boundaries start to blur. Jaboukie Young-White and Arty Froushan round out the cast.
