Heather Hemmens Talks Galifornia Undies and Her Next Rom-Com

Heather Hemmens is officially in her wearing-all-the-hats era! Fresh off getting married, the actress is also building her empire with Galifornia Undies, which is coming up on its one-year anniversary.

Pop Culture Planet caught up with Hemmens on the red carpet of Hallmark Channel’s 25th birthday celebration. “Oh my gosh, what haven't I learned?” Hemmens laughed about being an entrepreneur. “Because I'm wearing all the hats, I'm doing everything. All the hats and the undies.”

Hemmens calls Galifornia Undies “her baby,” as she learned that creating a product is only half the battle. “It’s a learning curve ‘cause you start off launching a product and you just have the product and you're like, ‘This is something I created. This feels like my future,’” she explained. “Then you're like, okay, but now other people need to feel that way.”

Now she’s focused on growing the brand, including a TikTok launch this month. With Galifornia Undies nearing its one-year anniversary this November, Hemmens is “very proud” and ready for a “big celebration.”

Up next, she has a new romantic comedy coming up with Taye Diggs. Titled Terry McMillan Presents: Paradise with You, the film premieres on Lifetime on November 7 and was shot in St. Kitts and Nevis. “It’s so fun,” Hemmens teased. “It’s just a lovely, lovely movie.”
