Alison Sweeney Teases Her Days Of Our Lives Return: “It Felt Like Going Home”

Alison Sweeney is making her way back to Days of Our Lives! Pop Culture Planet caught up with her on the red carpet for Hallmark Channel’s 25th birthday, where she gave us a little tease about her highly anticipated return.

While Sweeney couldn’t reveal too many details, she was exited to reunite with some familiar faces, including Christie Clark, who plays her on-screen sister Carrie. “I got to have really fun scenes with her that were a trip down memory lane,” she shared. “We had such a great time.”

She also reunited with Brian Dattilo and Chandler Massey, who plays her son Will on Days and has also become a familiar face in the Hallmark world. Sweeney first joined Day of Our Lives when she was a teenager, making her return especially meaningful. “They are just a great group of people to work with,” she said. “I started when I was 15 years old, so there's a lot of memories in that building.”

Returning to the set was about more than revisiting the character, it was a homecoming. “It felt like going home,” Sweeney reflected.
