An Unlikely Duo Switch Bodies In Swapped Trailer

New animated comedy Swapped brings the Freaky Friday effect to nature’s enemies. 

The trailer, introduced by Michael B. Jordan and his adorable niece and nephew, shows woodland creature Ollie (Jordan) foraging for food while a giant bird squawks at him, forcing him to run away. In the valley of the wilderness they reside in, the two creatures are sworn enemies. When Ollie is yet again about to be attacked, he deflects a mirror to blind the majestic bird Ivy (Juno Temple) and the two collide into each other. 

When they open their eyes, they’ve realized they’ve switched bodies! Trading their furs and feathers, the two go on an adventure to figure out how to switch back with advice from a colorful fish (Tracy Morgan). Dodging the other menacing creatures of nature like snakes and bears, the two grow a bond and realize all the creatures of the valley are better working together. 

Cedric the Entertainer, Justina Machado, Ambika Mod, and Lolly Adefope round out the cast. 

Swapped premieres May 1 on Netflix.
