From the creator of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series comes Coven Academy!

Set in New Orleans, the new single-camera, supernatural dramedy follows a trio of witches-in-training. The show promises magic, mystery, and teen drama as they are bound by destiny to guard their city from dangerous forces.

Coven Academy stars A Series of Unfortunate Events star Malina Pauli Weissman as Briar, 90s icon Tiffani Thiessen as Miss Graves, Disney Channel breakout star Malachi Barton as Jake, Louis Thresher as Ollie, Jordan Leftwich as Sasha, and Ora Duplass as Tegan. Recurring guest stars include Descendants: Wicked Wonderland’s Brendon Tremblay as Alexander, Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires Swayam Bhatia as McKenna, and Providence Falls Keegan Connor Tracy as Tamora.

“I pitched Coven Academy as a love letter to the genre YA shows I grew up on,” said creator and executive producer Tim Federle. “I’m thrilled to bring this original story to the screen with my longtime friends at Disney, led by Ayo Davis, and I can’t wait for the world to meet the incredible cast and crew who are conjuring our world into being.”

Federle is also executive producing the live-action comedy series Vampirina: Teenage Vampire, directing the Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion sequel, and writing The Greatest Showman stage musical adaptation.

Coven Academy premieres next year on Disney+ and Disney Channel.
