Pack your bags, we’re going on vacation! 

The long-awaited teaser trailer for People We Meet On Vacation is finally here with Emily Bader as our young, spirited Poppy and Tom Blyth as a routine-obsessed Alex. The trailer shows Poppy at the airport waiting for her luggage while listening to “Hang With Me” by Robyn. To her surprise, Alex is right behind her and the two go off as travel buddies. 

Though they are polar opposites, this summer vacation will hopefully rekindle their friendship after last year’s debacle. As they enjoy every moment of the trip from cafés to a nights out dancing, the two are faced with the bearing question of if they are indeed more than just platonic friends. 

Lukas Gage, Sarah Catherine Hook, Molly Shannon, Jameela Jamil, Lucien Laviscount, and Alan Ruck round out the cast. 

Will they? Won’t they? Find out when People We Meet On Vacation premieres January 9, 2026 on Netflix.
