High School Musical Star Kaycee Stroh Takes On The Role of Ms. Darbus In UK Production!

High School Musical fans, we have exciting news for you! 

Kaycee Stroh is popping and locking her way across the pond to star as Ms. Darbus in a UK production of High School Musical: The Musical! Originally starring as the lovable dance breaking smart girl Martha Cox in the original film, she’s back to honor the franchise in its 20th anniversary. 

"Revisiting the world of HSM in this new chapter feels like a genuine full-circle moment for me,” Stroh said in a statement. “From originating Martha to now stepping into the equally iconic role of Ms. Darbus, it’s both an honor and a joy to be part of the story in a whole new way. Performing in the UK has long been a dream of mine, and to do so with a story that holds such deep meaning makes it even more special. Ultimately, I chose to take on this role for the fans, whose unwavering support, love, and shared nostalgia have made HSM so special!”

Joining alongside are UK heartthrob Jason Donovan, Tobias Turley, Leonor Correia, Caitlin Tipping, and Luke Bayer. The production at The Lyric Theatre at Lowry will open from August 22 until September 19.
