Here’s A First Look At Mike Flanagan’s Take On The Stephen King Classic Carrie!
Stephen King’s debut novel Carrie gets a new life over 50 years later in the form of its first ever television adaptation by visionary showrunner Mike Flanagan. Now Prime Video has shared a first look at the highly anticipated series.
Led by Summer Howell and Samantha Sloyan, this reinvention of a coming-of-age classic finds Carrie dealing with a viral bullying scandal in the midst of the social media age and the awakening of her own mysterious telekinetic powers. Told over eight episodes, Flanagan expands the characters and tensions that lead to that shattering night that created a hero, a monster, or something more complicated.
The cast also includes Siena Agudong as Sue Snell, Alison Thornton as Chris Hargensen, Joel Oulette as Tommy Ross, Josie Totah as Tina, Arthur Conti as Billy, Thalia Dudek as Emaline, Amber Midthunder as Miss Desjardin, and Matthew Lillard as Principal Grayle.
Carrie will premiere exclusively on Prime Video this Fall.
