Descendants 5 Confirms New Title and Announces Returning Cast
What does happily ever after really look like?
Descendants: The Rise of Red stars Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker took to Disney+’s social media to announce the official title to their next film in the iconic franchise with Descendants: Wicked Wonderland. Turns out there are consequences for altering the fabric of time as we see Red and Chloe return from their time travel adventures to finds things are pretty different in their world.
This means an introduction to a slew of new characters including Liamani Segura as Red’s sister Pink, Brendon Tremblay as Maddox Hatter’s son Max, Alexandro Byrd as Luisa Madrigal’s son Luis, Kiara Romero as Captain Hook’s daughter Hazel, Joel Oulette as Robin Hood’s son Robbie, Zavien Garret as Dr. Facilier’s son Felix, and Ryan McEwen and Dayton Paradis as Smee’s twins Squirmy and Squeaky.
Along with all the new faces, our favorite royalty is also back to reprise their roles! Let’s welcome back Brandy as Cinderella, Paolo Montalban as King Charming, Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts, Leonardo Nam as Maddox Hatter, and Melanie Paxson as the Fairy Godmother, who is the only actor to appear in all five films of the franchise.
Could the new title tease an unexpected new villain trying to control the power of Wonderland? Production began in April, with Descendants: Wicked Wonderland set to hit Disney Channel and Disney+ next year.
