Hailee Steinfeld Enters A Witchy World In Hexed Trailer

New animated film Hexed takes us through the coming-of-age story of a young witch in a magical new world.

The trailer opens with baby Billie Doe (Hailee Steinfeld) being put to bed by her loving mother (Rashida Jones). As she’s staring at the moon, she’s suddenly lifted and almost transported into another portal by a giant bird.

Her mother rushes in to protect her and wraps a bracelet with a stone on Billie’s wrist. Flashing forward to a teenage Billie, she’s constantly looked at as “weird” at school. One day, Billie takes off her protective bracelet and goes into the portal leading to a fantastical witchy world called Hexe. From inflating pumpkins to learning spells, Billie is enamored by her new powers that her mother tried protecting her from.

Teaming up together, the two discover family secrets, a three eyed cat (Walton Goggins), confront an evil queen (Jodie Foster), and plenty of magical creatures along the way. Henry Winkler, Dan Stevens, Tracey Ullman, and Stephen Fry round out the key voice cast.

Brett Gelman, Samson Kayo, Jimmy O. Yang, Ron Funches, Drew McIntyre, Cheri Oteri, Kathy Najimy, Wayne Knight, Alan Tudyk, Randall Park, Bill Farmer, Pat McAfee, Chris Parnell, Sarah-Nicole Robles, Rachel Dratch, Ariana Madix, Kellie Gerardi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Abraham Benrubi, and Josh Dallas lend their voices.

Hexed premieres November 25 in theaters.
