Here’s Everything We Know About Camp Rock 3

We all knew it was happening, but now it's official — Camp Rock 3 is in production!

We just got a first look at the Jonas Brothers on set with the new cast. They have confirmed that they're back to reprise their roles as Connect 3, while Maria Canals-Barrera is back as Mitchie's mom Connie. Demi Lovato hasn't confirmed if she's going to appear in the film, but she is executive producing. The Camp Rock films shot her and the Jonas Brothers to superstardom, so I'm really glad that they're going to be a part of this new legacy.

The plot of Camp Rock 3 finds Connect Three losing their opening act for a major reunion tour. So, of course, they return to Camp Rock to find the next big thing. Tensions rise and friendships are tested as the campers audition to open for their favorite band.

New cast members include Sherry Cola as Lark, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and Descendants: Wicked Wonderland’s Liamani Segura as the bold and determined Sage, and Hudson Stone as her easygoing brother Desi. Electric Bloom’s Lumi Pollack plays cello prodigy Rosie, while Casey Trotter is drummer Cliff. Brooklynn Pitts is choreographer Callie, Ava Jean is intimidating influencer Madison, and it’s not a Disney project unless Malachi Barton’s in it. Following Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, the DZ Worlds Collide Tour, and the newly announced Coven Academy, he joins Camp Rock 3 as camp bad boy Fletch.

Reviving Camp Rock for a third film seems like a no-brainer as we’ve seen tons of Disney icons returning to Disney Channel to bring their projects to a new generation. Between Raven’s Home, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, and now Camp Rock 3, what would you want to see next? I’m crossing my fingers for The Cheetah Girls!
