Here’s A First Look At Maitreyi Ramakrishnan’s Bollywood-Fusion Dance Movie Best Of The Best

Netflix just shared a first look at their new dance film Best of the Best.

Never Have I Ever star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan leads Best of the Best alongside Disclosure Day’s Priyanka Kedia. The duo play best friends who join UCLA’s competitive Bollywood-fusion dance team, not realizing that the road to winning the U.S. Championship is more cutthroat than they ever imagined.

From director Lena Khan and Patriot Act writers Prashanth Venkataramanujam and Hasan Minhaj, the film celebrates Bollywood dance, growing pains, and the power of female friendship. Minhaj, Ankur Rathee, Janina Gavankar, Chaneil Kular, Becky Alex, Shreya Navile, Lilly Singh, Nihar Duvvuri, Nico Greetham, Amryn Khurana, Tanishq Joshi, Saara Chaudry, and Sasha Bhasin round out the cast.

Best of the Best hits Netflix on September 18.
