Hallmark Channel Returns For A Biltmore Christmas Sequel With Holland Roden and Niall Matter

Hallmark Channel is headed back to the enchanting Biltmore Estate for another soon-to-be Christmas classic!

Led by Teen Wolf’s Holland Roden and Niall Matter, the film follows Elizabeth, who is invited with her family to Biltmore House when it opens for the first time on Christmas Eve in 1895. She comes to the rescue of Michael, another teen caught trespassing on the property, by claiming to know him. Despite an instant connection, he inexplicably vanishes. Twenty years later, Elizabeth returns to the Biltmore for Christmas, only to be asked to dance by Michael at their holiday gala. As the world around her shifts, she finds herself in modern day with Michael, who is really a visitor from the present day thanks to a magical hourglass hidden in Biltmore’s library. Jonathan Frakes also reprises his role from the original 2023 film.

“When A Biltmore Christmas premiered it immediately became a fan favorite and an instant classic,” said Michelle Vicary, Head of Programming, Hallmark Media in a statement. “Marcy Holland, who wrote the original movie, has created another captivating romance set in this unique and special place. We can’t wait for viewers to travel back to Biltmore and fall for this new love story as much as they did the first one.”

Production begins in January at the historic Biltmore Estate, as well as Asheville’s Fine Arts Theatre, Pack’s Tavern, and in downtown Asheville.

Catch the new holiday love story when it premieres in 2026 during Hallmark Channel’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas event.
