Wicked: For Good Final Trailer Finds Elphaba and Glinda On Opposing Sides

A new trailer gives us a deeper look inside the epic and emotional conclusion that is Wicked: For Good. The highly anticipated sequel brings Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande back as our favorite witches. They finds themselves on opposing sides as their friendship and loyalties are tested.

Each of them has been forced to choose a separate path at the end of Wicked. Despite trying to reveal his lies to all of Oz, Elphaba has found herself quickly demonized by the Wizard. Meanwhile, Glinda, who has always dreamed of becoming a powerful sorceress, settles for being the Wizard’s fake prop of goodness for all. She thinks she is protecting Oz by being “encouraging,” as we see her test out her bubble button and a wand that “really sells” the act.

This final trailer is soundtracked by longer snippets of “Thank Goodness,” “No Good Deed,” and “For Good.” The incredible riff in “No Good Deed” shows off Erivo’s ability to reimagine these songs in a refreshing way. This leads to a shocking first look at the Tin Man as he cries out, “What have you done to me?” It’s clear Glinda and Elphaba’s actions will have huge consequences that transform the lives of Boq, Fiyero, Nessarose, and the citizens of Oz forever.

The final chapter of the untold story of the witches of Oz hits theatres on November 21.
