A Detective Uncovers Secrets Within The LAPD In Ballard Trailer

A new entry into the Bosch universe is here with Prime Video’s Ballard starring Maggie Q. 

The trailer shows detective Renée Ballard working at the LAPD in their new cold case division. Stuck in the basement, Ballard emphasizes that they still get results out of these cases despite being insanely underfunded. As the team gets assigned a new case, Ballard realizes that a serial killer is at large with 14 victims already.

In 72 hours, she must prove herself right or the case goes to the homicide unit. With the help of her volunteer team and retired detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), she soon uncovers the secrets within the LAPD and how far people will go to protect them while battling her own trauma and livelihood. 

Courtney Taylor, John Carroll Lynch, Michael Mosley, Rebecca Field, Victoria Moroles, Amy Hill, Ricardo Chavira, Noah Bean, Alain Uy, and Hector Hugo round out the cast. 

Ballard premieres July 9 on Prime Video.
